The EELC participated in a broad coalition of social movements, NGOs and legal advocacy organisation which, in October 2015, produced an alternate report to the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child. The Report includes analyses and recommendations relating to entrenched and continuing inequality in South African schools, and the ways in which that inequality plays out in the everyday lived experiences of South African learners.
