Comment on the Draft Regulations Relating to Minimum Norms and Standards for Public School Infrastructure

This is a joint comment prepared by EE and the EELC. It is recognised that the draft in question attempts to engage with criticisms of the previous draft, in particular, the introduction of accountability mechanisms. This comment contains suggestions for the strengthening of said accountability mechanisms and ensuring prioritisation of norms requiring redress. This will result in the eventual transition of the regulations into tangible improvements in school infrastructure.
